Sorry, I only have James, too, so I am also missing the first 4 children.
I started my Cooley research 50 yrs ago, so most of what I have is on
paper. I need to go through it all again to see if I left out anything when
I transferred info to my computer. I do have one question. I have a copy of
a letter from Lois Stanley to Robert Hunt in Seattle, WA. I think she was a
genealogist that he hired. In this letter she mentions a collection that is
listed under Cooley Family. It is caled Frank Fletcher Stephens papers,
file 3599, folio 374. She said that when she asked to see the file in 1985
that she was told that they were restricted until 1995. Obviously she had
no idea which Cooley Family this referred to. She lived in St Louis, MO so
I don't know if the collection was in St Louis or at the archives in
Jefferson City, MO. I've always wondered if it would be helpful.
Thanks for keeping me in the loop. Let me know if there is anything I can
do. I will be 80 this year and have a bad back but I can do research at
home.
I appreciate all that you and Michael are doing!!!
