I meant most others in the Cooley Project. The Benjamin Cooley (CF02, I
think) section has very little information.

>>>I still haven't learned anything about the lineage of kit #239164, but
>>> I've learned that the difference between 10 repeats and 13 repeats at
>>> DYS439 is very significant. It makes the tester a genetic distance of
>>> at
>>> least three from our modal (which matches the Perrin C Cooley results).
>>> Furthermore, there's a distance of two at DYS464b. With the marker
>>> difference at DYS576, that makes this tester a minimum of a genetic
>>> distance of six from the testers in our clan. Despite all the matching
>>> loci, he is unlikely to be a descendant of John's. But it makes his
>>> lineage even more attractive as it points to a possible collateral
>>> lineage.
>>>
>>> So, what does this say about the descendant of James of Jack county TX
>>> (born c1808/9 PA)? He matches with kit #239164 at all loci except for
>>> the
>>> three at DYS439. With the two additional hits at DYS464b, James's
>>> descendant is a distance of three from our modal. But he's also a
>>> distance
>>> of three from faceless kit #239164. In other words, genetically
>>> speaking,
>>> the James line is equidistant between Perrin C Cooley and the new guy.
>>> I'm
>>> not sure what that says.
>>>
>>> I'm meeting Greg Parker, the Cooley DNA Project admin, this weekend in
>>> DC.
>>> Hopefully, he can she some light on this.
