William H Cooley DNA

FYI,

The Wm H Cooley descendant is upgrading his test to 67 markers. Test
results are due on 6/3. There are two possible outcomes: 1) there will be
an increase in mismatched markers, making it less likely that he was of
our line, or collateral. 2) there will be little to no change--meaning we
will still not know if he's related. :) But the latter result will still
prove as valuable evidence. In any event, the genealogy will need to be
done. I'm out of ideas for taking his line back another generation. And,
other than the close match to the Jack County James descendant, I have no
leads as to who William might have been related and who, therefore, it
would be beneficial to see tested. Any ideas?

BTW, I had found a probable descendant of Daniel and of the John who
married Annis Hardin. Neither have responded to my repeated messages. :(
I've also again emailed two Reuben contacts but, again, no response. At
this point, even a 12-marker test (only $49) for any of these would be
helpful.

Still no results for my L448 test, and the transfer from 23andme is still
many weeks in away.
