Amie (White?) issued daughter Anna Elizabeth b.1830, Hickman County, KY, d. 1862 Wolf Island, MO and issued son George "White" Faris b. 1848 Wolf Island, Mississippi County, MO. Anyone have a clue re. this lineage? The name "White", while common, seems to have a regular thread in the Cooley family quilt. Any theories?

If any of you live close to an LDS Family History Library you could order film of wills and administrations. They have film of Howard County, MO 1818 - 1840 and 1848 - 1857. The film number is 1697958, item 10. I think the charge is about $5 per film (maybe less). This is a great resource. If I were in better health I would order it myself but I don't know if I could make it to the local branch library.
