Among them are two letters from Lura Coolley Hamil, one of which I have a

Mildred was a much better genealogist than Hamil. It's fair that I write a
paragraph about her in the section that I'm doing on Hamil. But I don't
know much. This is her descent:

The index to California death records says she was born in Oregon on 23
Nov 1878 and died in Santa Barbara on 14 July 1958.
Does anyone have a photo of her? Did she have children? She had a nephew
named Reginald W Forbush Cooley (1910-1981) who also died in Santa Barbara
per the SSDI, but I've never found anything on him.
