Thinking of which, to keep you informed William Scott Cooley will be chapter 1 in my next book. He deserves his own story told outside of the Hoo Doo War business. After that I am transferring the paper files down to Mason County, Texas, historical commission based at their library and electronic copies to Waco Texas Ranger Hall of Fame. Sooner or later someone is going to want to see them, hunt him or whatever. I want them preserved and the Cooley family to know where to find them.
