BTW, Hamil not only got the Cooleys wrong, she got the Cools wrong.

As per NY baptismal records and Richard Benson's "The Barent Jacobsen Cool
Family" (2001):

Barent Cool (1610-1684+) m Marrtje de Graeuw
Leendert Cool (1647-1735) m Marretje Della Cornelis
Johannes Cool (bapt 1679-) m Neeltje Roosa
Cornelis Cool (bapt 1715) m1 Sara Westval m2 Claesje Jongbloet
Johannes Cool (bapt 17 June 1740)

Hamil's version:

Lambert Cornelisson Cool
Wilhelm Pieterson Colet (William Collard) m Susannah
Leendert Cool m1 Marretje Della m2 Rebecca
Willem Cornelis Cool m Sara Westval
Johannes Cool (bapt 17 June 1740)
