There are not any children listed for Perrin Cooley, Jr on the 1840 census, so if this Emma Cooley Murley was his daughter she would have been about 6 yrs old and on that census. Too bad there isn't death records for California for 1896 to see what is listed for her.  The lady that put that information states that she has no more information than what is listed on find a grave, so do not contact her.
